I blessed a skin in blazing fuel
Then took a bullet in a duel of
‘He or I to Die.’
I often question ‘Why? ’
Do you?
My country was my life to give –
Would you for country cease to live?
Sinking in a mire of death,
You have no choice –
So while you’re still alive,
Rejoice!
I cried in failure – did you care?
And as I waned, were you aware of
What I did –?
Fighting for my country while you hid
Behind your comfort back at home?
Still relaxed?
My wife and child are fading at the tomb.
2. Nondescript ball, nonchalant in rest from function:
Purpose immense; programmed to construct; make healing.
Trigger your switch; signals now received: instructions.
Replicate; grow; energy for purpose; differ-
entiate; feed, speeding up your drive; survive: now
Build to replenish as to see regeneration.
Organs anew! Or you shall repair with flare, so
Shine, you small cell – swell! Do we see child alive to
Thrive – or is tissue now of recovered state, orn-
ate once again, working as before? Pronounce and
Demonstrate life: be your small mind so kind oh

3. I hence meandered aimlessly,
Bereft of any thought:
My mind as barren as could be,
Through mulling o’er naught.
But while in cherished moment
As I chilled through drifting air,
An epiphany, bright and suddenly
Did render all so clear.
I stopped and stood in rigid form
And pondered on this thought ‘till dawn:
Flustered state thence settled in
As face grew taught with tensioned skin.
Then out of poor chaotic brain -
Conditioned now to die insane -
A second epiphany struck so keen…
I’d succumbed to thinking – I simply hadn’t seen!
